  2. 2 Clean the throttle body

    Especially if the 12V battery died or was changed recently: remove the intake tube and clean the throttle bore and plate with throttle body cleaner and a lint-free cloth (electronic throttle, never force the plate by hand with the key on). This restores the airflow a reset throttle expects at minimum opening. Cheap, fast, and famously curative for hybrid no-starts.
